Help to keep your child safe on the roads
A number of children are killed or seriously injured on Lancashire’s roads each year. Parents and carers need to be alert to the risks children face on the road. Even from a young age it’s essential to set a good example of how to behave.
Your child will be learning about road safety at school but as a parent or carer you play an even bigger part in helping your child to learn how to stay safe. Children will copy adults’ behaviour, so if they see you taking risks they will probably take risks too.
The 'Let's look out for each other' campaign encourages pedestrians, drivers and riders to all look out for each other and offers advice and tips on how to stay safe, visible and alert on the roads.
