Signs and Signage
All sites utilised by the Lancashire Partnership for Road Safety adhere to the Department for Transport guidelines. All sites are surveyed by local Highways Departments and are only used once it has been confirmed that the site is compliant.Once compliant, all areas of the site, parking, and signage are photographed in order to prove this compliance in case of vandalism.
Each time enforcement is carried out at a site, they are checked by the technician and a log of compliance is completed, this includes, visibility, conditions if relevant, and signage.
In the event that a site does not comply then it is not used but is reported to the relevant authority for repair.
